Osim što majmuni postaju sve moćniji, iz prvog tv spota za film Matta Reevesa Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, vidljive su i prve naznake buduće civilizacije primata i prijetnje da ljudi više neće biti na vrhu hranidbenog lanca. U filmu glume Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo, Enrique Murciano i Judy Greer, a u kina stiže 11. srpnja 2014. godine.
